| McKenzie storms
to another BMW points finish |
|
Daniel McKenzie in his first year of
single seater racing and only second year of car racing ever stormed home to a
9th place finish at Donnington Park last weekend in the ultra competative
Formula BMW Championship. After a qualifying which didn't reflect the true pace
Daniel had had all weekend leaving him 18th on the grid the Teenager from Poole
put together a gritty drive in the Nortel/Datapulse backed car to haul himself
up the order into the top 10 setting a lap time whilst coming through the pack
good enough to put him on the back of the top 6 drivers. Daniel was delighted
with the result, quite rightly so as these cars are known for being some of the
hardest to overtake in as they are all so evenly matched.
