| Pembrey race 1
heartbreak for Redwood |
|
Pembrey once again saw Nigel Redwood as
one of the pace setters in the Radical Enduro Championship fresh off the back
of his win at the previous round at Brands Hatch. Qualifying saw him finishing
second in class and eighth overall but feeling that their was room for
improvement in set up. Race 1 saw Nigel storm to an early lead before disaster
struck with the clutch cover on a motor on loan from the factory that the team
was using came undone leading to a non finish. The factories apologies for
their mistake was little consolation for Redwood as he knew an easy win had
slipped his grasp. Race 2 however Redwood put in possibly the drive of the
weekend storming from last to second in class charged up after the earleir
dissappointment.
Race 2 also saw team driver Henry Fletcher come alive
netting himself a strong 4th place finish in class in his maiden year of
Radical racing.
